Our client, a specialist Civil Engineering contractor, has created a new role due to prolonged growth. Working closely with the SMT this role will concentrate on new incoming tenders. As a company they have been very successful within the UK utilities sector and have a healthy pipeline of UK based business well into 2025/26.

Key Responsibilities
- Sending/receiving enquiries to/from clients, suppliers & specialist sub-contractors
- Working with internal design and civil engineering teams to prepare of tender responses & pricing
- Attending Mid-tender review meetings with Clients, both virtually and in person
- Presentation of tender to Director/Bid Manager for approval prior to submittal
- Creating detailed tender submission
- Detailed tender handover report to Project Delivery Team
Qualifications
- Ideally you will have a formal Civil Engineering qualification, or direct experience working on piping, drainage or trenching projects
Experience & Knowledge
- 3+ years’ estimating experience
- Experience using estimating software

- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver high quality work within strict time frames
- Ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team
- Be able to work under tight deadline & schedules
