Our client a global nutrition company based in the Craigavon area have a role for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join them and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing their processes to meet the demands of the ever-evolving FMCG industry.
You will report into the sites Operation Manager and support the site with the implementation &
maintenance of the company’s Business Excellence Programme and will be the expert on site for CI
related topics included in the Business Excellence programme
Some of your duties will include:
Maintaining communication with CI stakeholders across the business
Provide support to people leaders and contribute to the success of departmental teams, helping them identify opportunities for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Site Management, establishing two-way communication and accurate provision of information to support the efficient running and continuous improvement of the site.
Coach & mentor problem solving teams through the problem-solving process, using appropriate tools & problem solving techniques Six Sigma Green Belts and Yellow Belts
Facilitate workshops on site to support implementation of elements & tools of the Business Excellence Programme
Maintain awareness of new methods, training and practices within the industry
You will need to have:
A relevant third level qualification or 3yrs experience (ideally within the food industry)
Knowledge of standards, equipment and/or processes within a production or manufacturing environment.
