Your New Role

As a UK Tax Accountant, you will be a key member of the in-house tax team. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Preparing business tax computations for corporate and partnership entities.
  • Managing the submission of tax returns and ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Assisting in year-end closing processes and preparing tax notes for statutory accounts.
  • Providing advice on VAT matters and supporting various projects, such as research and analysis of complex tax issues and business structuring.

 

What You Need

  • Experience in preparing UK tax computations for entities within a large group.
  • Strong analytical and IT skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly to non-specialists.
  • A professional financial qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT) with experience in tax.
  • Experience with tax software packages is desirable, but training will be provided.
